11/1/2022: The Safety Council of Texas City is now HASC Texas City!

To better serve industry in the Greater Houston Area, the Safety Council of Texas City is now the Health and Safety Council Texas City (HASC Texas City).

Starting November 1st, SNAP will be replaced with HASC's LINK™ online registration system. Your login credentials for LINK™ will remain the same as the credentials you used for SNAP. Beginning November 1st, you may start registering for courses offered at HASC Texas City (formerly, Safety Council of Texas City) in the LINK™ portal or the LINKmobile™ app.

When logging into LINK™ please enter your SNAP User Email as your LINK™ Username and your SNAP Password as your LINK™ Password. If unable to log in, please call 409-948-9009 ext. 0.

8/28/2022: Update for Marathon Petroleum Galveston Bay Refinery (GBR):
The following site-specific courses have been retired:

  • 07GBR-F – Marathon GBR Site-Specific
  • 07GBRLCS – GBR Life Critical Safety
  • 07GBRSPP – GBR Safety Practices and Policies
  • 07GBRSAE – GBR Security and Environment
  • 07GBRFQ – GBR Face-to-Face

The above site-specific courses have been replaced by:

  • 19MPCESN – Marathon Petroleum Essentials Orientation
  • 19MPCGBR – Marathon Petroleum Galveston Bay Refinery Site-Specific


7/21/2022: Updated Facility Entry Requirements for Ineos Aromatics TCC:

Background Check (One of below)
a. S2Verify Graded Background Check – Grade 00 to 02
b. First Advantage Graded Background Check – Grade 00 to 02
c. NEW: DISA Background Check – Must have “Active” status for INEOS Aromatics Texas City Chemicals, Grade 00 to 02
Drug Test (One of below)
a. Pre-Access VECTOR Hair Test – Must have “Activated” status for INEOS Aromatics Texas City Chemicals
b. NEW: Pre-Access DISA Test – Must have “Active” status for DCCHA INEOS Aromatics Texas City Chemicals
